Your journey will begin in Tevfikiye Village, which hosts the Archaeological Site of Troy and the Museum of Troy. The village is also an ideal spot for exploring the unique local lifestyle that seamlessly blends traditional village life with modern artisanal culture.
First, you can visit the Museum of Troy, a modern archaeological museum located near the ancient city. Its rich collection and interactive displays provide an essential introduction to the site, helping you make sense of the layered history before entering the ruins.
Then, you can explore the Archaeological Site of Troy, one of the most iconic archaeological sites in the world, known for its legendary role in Homer’s Iliad. The city's layered remnants reflect over 4,000 years of continuous settlement and reveal the deep connection between history and mythology.
Within the archaeological site, you can also see a modern reconstruction of the Trojan Horse. While it is not an original artefact, it serves as a visual interpretation of the myth that defines Troy’s global reputation, allowing visitors to engage more directly with the narrative tradition associated with the city
