The Five Wonders of the Şakir Paşa Family
As part of the Culture Route Festival, works by five important artists from the Şakir Paşa family, one of the most influential families in Turkish art, will be on display in this exhibition. The exhibition will also reflect the development process of Turkish modern art.

These five prominent artists from the Şakir Paşa family, almost all of whose members are involved in some aspect of art, have left a lasting mark on national and international art circles with their innovative approaches and original works in different disciplines.

Artists Featured in the Exhibition: 

Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı (Halikarnas Balıkçısı)
Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı, the representative of the Şakir Paşa family in the literary world, is known for his works that bring together literature and art. Settling in Bodrum and taking the name "Hali
karnas Balıkçısı," Cevat Şakir reflected his deep interest in Mediterranean culture in his works. His stories emphasize love for the sea, nature, and humanity. The artist also draws attention with his talent in painting, as well as literature.

Fahrelnissa Zeid
One of the pioneers of Turkish modern art, Fahrelnissa Zeid is known for her works that masterfully combine abstract art and colors. Zeid, who has made a significant impact in international art circles with her exhibitions in Europe and the Middle East, has embraced cultural diversity and a universal language in her art. Her dynamic compositions and original narrative have made her an important figure in Turkish modern art, recognized worldwide.
