Turkish doctors: their inventions & success stories

The rate of medical specialization is high in Türkiye both in main branches and sub-branches. Excellently trained physicians and health professionals of Türkiye are proud to share their expertise with their colleagues in the developing countries and thus participate their healthcare system improvement programs. It's among our major priorities to contribute to the global health.

Medical training is offered in English by most of the medical higher education facilities. English is widely applied across the health service provision. In addition, health facilities or intermediary organizations may arrange interpretation services for the patients in desire to communicate in their native language.

In 2019 alone Turkish Doctors performed the following number of operations in cardiology:

By-pass Surgery - 44,473 

Heart Valve Surgery - 14,343

Congenital Heart Surgery - 8,671

Aortic Surgery - 6,988.

In 2019 alone Turkish Doctors performed a total of 14,772 transplants.

These included: kidney, liver, heart, lung, pancreas, small intestine, cornea, cord blood, and also paediatric and adult bone marrow.

In 2019 alone Turkish Doctors performed a total of  37,367 IVF treatments, and the number of pregnancies resulting was 9,937.
