Adana Kebab and Turnip Festival

 Adana’s famous kebabs have come to be known around the world, and the city itself becomes a celebration of the famous dish – and other culinary delights and drinks – every year at the Adana Kebab and Turnip Festival. Tens of thousands of local residents are joined by visitors on the second Saturday night of every December for the festival, which sees the eponymous kebabs accompanied by entertainment throughout the city.

Look out for barbecues set up in the streets around Büyüksaat, the old residential area of Adana, serving delicious treats!
