Carmina Burana, with a cast of approximately 250 comprising soloists, orchestra, choir, ballet dancers, children's choir and ballet, Modern Dance Istanbul artists, and special design teams, will meet art lovers as a ‘choreographic stage cantata’.
The work will showcase the stage geometry of the Atatürk Cultural Centre-Türk Telekom Opera Hall, utilising all the technical capabilities of the stage. Audiences watching Carmina Burana will witness the revolving stage, the transitions of the front and rear carriages on the right and left, and the soffit pipes (a latticed ceiling designed to move the decorations on stage), each assigned a time code, seemingly dancing in unison.
